Website redesign
Las Vegas
Website redesign for businesses that have outgrown their site.
The company has changed — how you work, what you sell, who you sell to. The website hasn't kept up. Naked City redesigns around the business you are today, here in Las Vegas, and carries your search visibility and content across as part of the work.
Why redesign
Your business grew up. Your website should too.
A redesign is not about making a website look different for the sake of looking different. It is about closing the gap between the quality of the business and the quality of the thing representing it online.
Most established businesses do not need a trend. They need the digital presence to catch up to the company they have actually become — clearer, more current, easier to use, and built to bring in the work the business deserves.
When a redesign is the right call
- You have rebranded, changed your name, or brought in new leadership.
- You have added services the current site does not mention.
- The company has grown, but the site still describes the earlier version.
- You lose people on mobile, or the site is slow.
- It does not generate the inquiries the business should be getting.
- You are quietly reluctant to send a good prospect to it.
If the bones are still right, that is a refresh, not a redesign — and we will tell you so.

Search preservation
Redesign the presentation. Preserve the equity.
An established website is rarely a blank slate. It has usually earned things worth keeping — URLs, indexed pages, content, search rankings, backlinks, internal links, metadata, structured data, analytics history, and conversion paths people already use. A careless redesign — new URLs with no redirects, ranking pages rewritten wholesale, tracking dropped — can spend years of that in a weekend.
So we approach an established-site redesign as a migration, not a demolition.
The migration

- 02Inventory
- 03Map
- 04Build
- 05Redirect
- 06Validate
- 07Launch

What we're honest about
A website redesign can affect search visibility. Our job is to plan the migration carefully, preserve valuable search equity where possible, and monitor what happens after launch. We do not guarantee rankings, and we won't tell you a redesign can't affect them — we tell you it is planned for.
How we run search migrations →The migration, step by step
- 01Baseline the existing site's search performance and analytics.
- 02Inventory every current URL before anything changes.
- 03Identify the content, pages, and backlinks that are already earning position.
- 04Map old URLs to the new architecture, one to one.
- 05Implement appropriate 301 redirects for everything that moves.
- 06Preserve the titles, content, and structure that are working.
- 07Rebuild internal links against the new structure.
- 08Update and resubmit the XML sitemap.
- 09Validate crawling and indexability on staging and again after launch.
- 10Preserve analytics and tracking so measurement is not lost.
- 11Monitor Search Console and analytics against the baseline after launch.
- 12Investigate anything that regresses, and address it.
The whole system
A redesign isn't a reskin.
A serious redesign is not a new theme on the old structure. Naked City looks at the whole system and changes what the business actually needs changed.
The parts you see
Positioning, information architecture, visual design, and the mobile experience — the design and UX work that decides how the company reads at first glance.
The parts you feel
Performance, usability, conversion paths, and measurement — the engineering that makes the site fast, clear, and able to prove what it is doing.
The parts that compound
Search architecture, content structure, and intelligent experiences where they genuinely remove friction — including how the redesign protects your search position, not just how it looks.
Process
How the work goes.
An organised sequence, so an established business owner can see exactly how the existing site is handled — not blown up and hoped for the best.
- 01Audit + baselineWe start by understanding what you have — the content, the structure, the search performance, and what the business actually needs the site to do now.
- 02Positioning + information architectureBefore design, we settle what the site is saying and how it is organised, so the redesign is built around the business, not around a template.
- 03Creative direction + designArt direction, typography, and layout that carry the same weight as the company does in the room.
- 04DevelopmentA hand-built front end: fast on a real phone, accessible, and made to be maintained rather than replaced.
- 05Migration + QAThe redirect map, the preserved content, the internal links, and the tracking are all put in place and checked on a staging build.
- 06LaunchCut over from staging once it is verified. Nothing goes live that you have not seen.
- 07Post-launch monitoringWe watch crawl status, indexing, Search Console, and analytics against the baseline, and address regressions if they appear.
Nothing goes live until you've seen it
The new site is built and checked on a staging URL. The cutover is quick and planned, not a leap of faith.
After launch
A monitoring window: crawl status, indexing, Search Console, and analytics watched against the baseline, with regressions investigated.
Proof
What better looks like.
Naked City is a new studio. Rather than borrow credibility we haven't earned, we show the work and explain the thinking. This site is one example. Two concept productions are another.
Concept project
Cavallo
A cinematic hospitality concept — an independent build by Naked City Media, not a client engagement. It shows how we approach positioning, art direction, and a full digital experience.

Silver State Air
A local-service and conversion concept — also an independent build, not a client. It shows problem-first navigation, service-area structure, and a guided intake, with local search built into the architecture.

Common questions about a website redesign.
How much does a website redesign cost?
- A redesign for an established business is priced on scope, not page count. The things that move it: how much of the design is custom versus a reusable system, the state of your current content, how many URLs need mapping and redirecting, and whether the work includes moving off another platform. We give you a fixed scope and number after a first conversation — no rigid package, and no surprise change orders.
How long does a website redesign take?
- It depends on the site, not a fixed schedule. The variables that set the timeline: how many pages and URLs are involved, how much new content has to be written versus carried over, the number of integrations, how heavy the migration is, and how quickly review and feedback come back from your side. A focused redesign of a tight, well-organised site moves quickly; a large site with a big URL inventory and a lot of new writing takes longer at the front. We give you a real schedule with the scope, after a first conversation.
Will redesigning my website hurt my SEO or Google rankings?
- A website redesign can affect search visibility — which is why we plan it as a migration. We baseline your current search performance, inventory every URL, map old URLs to new ones with 301 redirects, carry over the content and metadata that are working, rebuild internal links, and validate indexing before and after launch. Then we monitor Search Console and analytics and investigate anything that moves. We do not guarantee rankings, and we will not tell you loss is impossible — we tell you it is planned for. The technical detail lives on our SEO page.
Can you redesign my existing website, or do we need to start over?
- Both are possible. If your platform and structure still serve the business, we can redesign on top of what is there. If the foundation is holding you back — an outdated CMS, a structure that no longer matches how you sell — a rebuild is cleaner. We tell you which, and why, after looking at what you have.
Do I have to rewrite all my content?
- No. Content that is working — pages that rank, copy that converts — comes across as it is or lightly edited. We point out where a rewrite would genuinely help and where it is better left alone. A redesign is not a reason to discard words that are earning their place.
What happens to my existing URLs?
- Every URL on your current site is inventoried before anything changes. URLs that stay keep their address. URLs that move get a 301 redirect to the right new page, so visitors and search engines land where they should and the value those pages built carries forward.
Can I keep my domain?
- Yes. A redesign does not require a new domain, and we would usually advise against changing one that already has history and recognition.
Can you migrate us from our current platform?
- Yes. Moving off Squarespace, Wix, an aging WordPress build, or a proprietary CMS is a common reason businesses come to us. Content and URL structure are carried across deliberately, staged on a preview build, and only cut over once it is verified.
What happens after launch?
- We do not disappear at launch. There is a monitoring window where we watch crawl status, indexing, Search Console, and analytics against the baseline, and fix regressions if they show up. Launch is a milestone in the project, not the end of it.
